Nils Frahm, All Melody

On Friday 16 October at 20:00, the album is played in full inside the ANDETAG installation in central Stockholm. 74 minutes, 25 places.

Frahm built the Saal 3 studio inside Funkhaus in Berlin, then recorded the album in the room he had shaped himself, with a self-built organ, piano, synthesisers and choir. The reverb is not added afterwards, it is recorded into the walls. The title points at the album he failed to make; this is what arrived instead.

Nils Frahm was one of the strongest influences on the music Gustaf Tadaa and Povel Olsson wrote for ANDETAG. “My Friend the Forest” from this album is one of Gustaf's own favourites, and one he likes to play on the piano at home.
