ANDETAG is a breathing museum inside Hötorget metro station in Stockholm, where woven light sculptures breathe in time with a recorded human breath.

Short, about 50 words

ANDETAG is a breathing museum in central Stockholm, inside Hötorget metro station. In darkened rooms, sculptures of custom-woven and hand-stitched optical fibre textile glow in time with a recorded human breath, with original music. Visitors remove their shoes and stay as long as they like. Created by Malin Tadaa and Gustaf Tadaa.

Long, about 150 words

ANDETAG opened in January 2025 in a 200 square metre space inside Hötorget metro station, central Stockholm. Planned as a three-month pop-up, it is still there, and has welcomed 40,000 visitors.

The museum was created by Malin Tadaa and Gustaf Tadaa. In darkened rooms, sculptures of custom-woven and hand-stitched optical fibre textile hang and rest. Their light is driven by a recording of Malin Tadaa's breathing during deep meditation, and shifts colour on a rhythm that follows planetary motion, not a schedule. The animations never repeat. Every work in the series is connected over the internet and breathes in time, wherever in the world it stands, from Seattle and New York to Lisbon and Berlin.

Visitors remove their shoes, step into original music written for the rooms, and stay as long as they like. The average visit is 45 minutes.

Visitors rate ANDETAG 4.9 out of 5 across 235 reviews, and the museum holds the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice 2026 award and place 2 among art museums in Stockholm (October 2026).
