Neurodiversity-friendly exhibition in Stockholm
Calm, predictable, low stimulus
ANDETAG is designed as a calm, low-stimulation experience.
If you are autistic, ADHD, or have another neurodevelopmental profile, or sensory sensitivity, it can help to know what to expect before you visit.
Here is information to help you plan.
What to expect
The exhibition has four rooms with light-based textile art and original music. The works move to a shared breath: slowly, predictably, without sudden changes. No flashing lights. No interactive screens. Nothing that demands a response.
Sound is quiet. Music plays at low volume and follows the same rhythm as the light. You can also listen on your own device if you want more control.
Many neurodivergent visitors describe being drawn into the light. The predictable rhythm gives your attention somewhere to rest, a focus that regulates without asking for a reply. You can lose yourself in it, or simply let the breath carry you.
The rooms move from darker to lighter. In the last room there are blankets and cushions where you can sit or lie down. Stay as long as you need.
Low stimulus, small groups, quiet pace
A quiet museum, not a noisy one. Groups are small. You move through at your own pace. No guide talking over you. No time limits. You stay as long as you wish. Low demand: nothing requires your answer. Most people spend around 50 minutes, but you are free to stay longer.

The experience is on one level. Clear flow, calm transitions. A place to exhale when input feels like too much. The whole exhibition is wheelchair accessible. Carers or personal assistants enter free of charge; let us know at the entrance. See also accessibility at ANDETAG for full details.
ANDETAG and ADHD
ANDETAG is a low-stimulation environment that gives attention something to rest on: a slow, predictable rhythm in light and music. No queues inside the exhibition, no moments that demand a reply, no pace to keep. You move through the rooms when you choose, and stay in the final room for as long as you need.
Most visitors stay around 50 minutes, but the choice is yours. Many people with ADHD describe a sudden ease : attention finds something to lean on, instead of pulling apart. For many it also becomes a calm place for meditation without a class format or instructions.
ANDETAG and autism
ANDETAG follows a predictable flow: four rooms with the same music, the same breath rhythm, the same response in light. No sudden changes, no guide talking over the experience, no interactive elements that demand a response. You can read through the sensory profile before your visit.
Groups are small and you move at your own pace. Carers or personal assistants enter free of charge. Let us know at the entrance. If you want to know more about a specific part of the visit beforehand, write to info@andetag.museum.
ANDETAG for sensory sensitivity
The light comes from the textiles themselves and moves slowly. No flashing lights, no strobes, no fluorescent lighting. Music plays at low volume and follows the same rhythm as the light: no sudden audio cues. No strong scents.
If you want more control over the sound, you can listen on your own device with your own headphones. The final room has blankets and cushions where you can rest if input becomes too much. You can leave the experience whenever you wish.
