Howard Blake, The Snowman

On Friday 11 December at 20:00, the album is played in full inside the ANDETAG installation in central Stockholm. 26 minutes, 25 places.

Blake wrote the score for the 1982 animated short, including “Walking in the Air”. This album will be played with the English narration, which makes the evening more of a story hour than pure listening.

The album is short, so music from ANDETAG carries on once it has finished.

Our reading of Christmas. Gustaf Tadaa saw The Snowman as a ballet at Stora Teatern in Gothenburg when he was 10, and had the animated film on VHS at home. Today Malin and Gustaf play it for their own children every Christmas.
