The Breathing Art Museum in Stockholm

ANDETAG is a breathing art museum in Stockholm, an immersive experience where light, textile and music move in sync with a shared breath.

The artworks are woven from optical fibre and glow from within. The light shifts slowly, synchronized to a breathing rhythm that never repeats. Every artwork is connected to a global system that synchronizes the exhibition with works held by collectors in the US, Costa Rica, Portugal and Sweden. All breathing together, in real time.

The music, composed specifically for the exhibition, guides the experience inward. In the final room, you are welcome to lie down, surrounded by light, music and breath. A place for stillness and wonder. You stay as long as you like.

Please note that there is no space for strollers inside the venue. You can lock your stroller at the bike parking on Sveavägen.

You can cancel your visit up until your scheduled time. Refunds are issued as a gift card, which can be used to book a new time.

There are elevators to both street level and the subway. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible, but unfortunately, we do not have a fully equipped wheelchair-accessible restroom.

Some parts of the exhibition are dark, but navigation is relatively straightforward. Guide dogs are welcome.

There is no hearing loop available, but the music can be accessed online if you’d like to play it on your own device.

Caregivers or assistants are admitted free of charge.
